Spoonflower identified a re-surging interest in this design style and announced an artist challenge calling for new designs. I immediately added my own challenge to this – to incorporate my country farmhouse niche into a Delft tile design!

This collection reinterprets the classic style by introducing flowing meadow grasses and botanical elements of Dandelion and Clover. I wanted the motifs to have a very imperfect, hand-drawn sketchy look. This softens the geometry and creates a more relaxed, contemporary aesthetic.

The result is a pattern that feels:
